AGS International Movers Johannesburg supported 6 disability funds in September 2012 for Casual Day, a national campaign in its 18th year. The campaign, themed ‘Get on Board’, heralded the arrival of the famed Pirates of the Caribbean who sunk all-comers in style.

Five other teams joined in: the Hawaiian Cruise Liners, The Titanics, The Sailors and The Captains, but none could match the Pirates’ ferocity for fun.
Participants bought Casual Day stickers for the privilege of turning out in their team regalia while supporting six South African charities:

  • The National Council for Persons with Physical Disabilities in South Africa (NCPPDSA)
  • Disabled People South Africa
  • SA Federation for Mental Health
  • SA National Council for the Blind
  • Deaf Federation SA
  • Epilepsy SA

AGS International Movers recognises the need to raise not just funds, but awareness and community support for those with disabilities. We are proud to have supported Casual Day in 2012 and look forward to reaching out once more in 2013.
