Mr Goodmove: The AGS ambassador of quality https://www.agsmovers.com/news/mr-goodmove-the-ags-ambassador-of-quality/ https://www.agsmovers.com/news/mr-goodmove-the-ags-ambassador-of-quality/#respond Tue, 29 May 2012 15:11:10 +0000 https://www.agsmovers.com/?p=22313 What makes perfect customer service?

Mr GoodMove, the AGS ambassador of quality, is constantly monitoring all the branches in the AGS group, to ensure top quality customer service is provided whatever the circumstances. In the removals industry, we must deal with many situations outside of our control.

Our Quality Ambassador is on hand when customers need extra support or reassurance, and works with the AGS branch and client for issue resolution and a positive outcome. Mr GoodMove makes sure clients are continually kept updated until complete satisfaction is reached. AGS branches are then evaluated not just for perfect service, but for how the matter was dealt with.

AGS would particularly like to highlight the following branches as being exemplary in their customer service provision in 2011: AGS Movers Codem Yaoundé, AGS Movers Cameroon, AGS Movers Rwanda, AGS Movers Beijing & Shanghai, AGS Movers Chennai, AGS Movers Philippines, AGS Movers Slovakia, and our Brest, Lorraine – Luxembourg, Poitiers, Strasbourg-Alsace, Tarbes and Troyes branches in France.

Mr GoodMove was implemented in 2009 to help branches measure and further improve their customer service levels and quality performance.  We have seen a marked increase in the satisfaction expressed by our customers since this additional customer service initiative was put in place.
Our customer satisfaction ambassador, Mr GoodMove, is available by email at mrgoodmove@agsmovers.com.

Christian’s extensive professional career started at AGS Marmande (SNF-Fourteau) where he began as a Sales Manager, and then became a Branch Manager until December 1990. He then occupied positions such as Branch Manager of AGS Movers Paris, General Manager of SOTEMAD and Technical and Transit Sales Operations at AGS Paris. In January 1997 he was appointed as the IT Manager at AGS Holding. Christian was then in charge of AGS Réunion from October 1998.

We trust that our branch managers will excel in their new positions and wish them all the best in their roles.

Each AGS subsidiary is not only an ambassador of the AGS Group, but the hands and feet of the Group’s hopes and concerns for human rights.

AGS supports the fight against cancer at the “Everyone Sings Against Cancer” concert in Paris

A special concert was held at the Theatre Mogador in Paris, on 22 March, 2010, in support of the “Everyone Sings Against Cancer” association. More than 50 celebrities were on stage for the good cause.

From pop stars to television stars, one after another gave their voices for the fifth consecutive year, on the Mogador stage. Among the artists the audience was treated to were Chimene Badi, Amel Bent, Helene Segara, Gilbert Montagné, Helmut Fritz, Julien Courbet, Nikos Aliagas, Laurence Boccolini, Frederic Lopez, Jean-Pierre Pernaut, Sandrine Quétier, Corinne Touzet, Buno Guillon and Bruce Toussaint.

null
AGS invited more than 100 people to the occasion, mainly customers and their families, as well as staff, to participate in the prestigious event which raised more than 150,000 Euros.

The funds raised from the evening will be used to implement special projects to assist cancer patients and their families.

AGS is proud to have participated in the event to support this worthy cause.

AGS Movers China Supports Communities

It was plain sailing at this year’s International Boat Show Charity Regatta in April, when AGS Movers Shanghai sponsored autistic children at the worthy event.

The branch provided tents and candy floss for the kids, and free short-term storage for the Silent Angel Kindergarten for Autistic Children.

Meanwhile, newly-opened AGS Movers Wuhan supported renowned Chinese photographer, Qi Hong, by sponsoring his “In Time” photographic exhibition. The exhibition took place from 15 – 30 May this year in Wuhan Tiandi. The branch also championed the cause of children from Hong An Village by helping to raise funds at a charity dinner on 15 May. Proceeds from the evening allowed the children to enjoy a much needed day of fun at the Wuhan Amusement Park.

And AGS Movers Chengdu reached its sponsorship goal by financially supporting the city’s expat football team. The Chengdu Expat Football Team are first division players in the Chengdu City league.

AGS Movers “Gets Out There” https://www.agsmovers.com/news/ags-movers-gets-out-there/ Tue, 15 Dec 2009 13:55:15 +0000 https://www.agsmovers.com/ags-four-winds-gets-out-there/ Every day we are presented with opportunities to establish friendships and strong alliances, both at work and play. This month we commend AGS International Movers for “getting out there”.

The American Chamber of Commerce, in Southwest China, organized a July 4th celebration fundraising benefit.

This event was held on June 27th at Chengdu Meishi International School to celebrate the 233rd American Independence Day. AGS Movers Chengdu was invited as a sponsor, and all the proceeds went to the Sichuan Earthquake Rebuilding Effort.

Candy floss and flyers were handed out at the AGS Movers Chengdu’s stand, which drew the attention and interest of many visitors, particularly families with young children. The American Independence Day celebration is a premier event in Chengdu, and this year over 1000 people attended.

Most recently AGS Movers Shanghai sponsored a synchronized swimming gala at the Gubei Gym Club.

AGS Movers Shanghai donated AGS-branded towels to the swimmers, and many families supported the event.

This event was an excellent opportunity for AGS representatives to meet prospective clients and network with numerous people.

A live boxing event was held on August 29, 2009, in Hong Kong’s prestigious Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC). The event was in aid of former rugby player and coach, Joel Dunn, who was well-known in the local community. Joel was diagnosed with Leukaemia a few months ago and recently passed away, leaving a young family behind.

AGS Movers Hong Kong was tasked with handling the logistics of moving the boxing ring to and from the HKFC. The event was a huge success, and about HK$420,000.00 was raised. Well done to AGS Movers Hong Kong for handling the logistics superbly.

AGS Movers Shanghai attended the Expat Show in September as an exhibitor. All sorts of boxes and packing materials were on display in both booths to show clients what we use when we move their goods.

Brochure stands were also available, and a number of corporate gifts were handed out, like magnets, squeeze trucks, beanies, caps and beer coolers. AGS Movers Shanghai also arranged a lucky draw and offered a number of fabulous prizes, such as a case of wine, a bottle of champagne, a DVD player and gift vouchers.

The Expat Show Shanghai is a three-day event that aims to bring the expatriate community together. With more than 9000 visitors over three days and approximately 200 exhibitors, this is the largest expat event in Shanghai. This exhibition makes it possible for foreigners to find all the information, products and services they might need while living in Shanghai.
